We, the members of the ICON•S Venezuela Chapter, affirm our commitment to preserving and advancing the rich tradition of Public Law scholarship in Venezuela. Recognizing the profound challenges posed by the ongoing humanitarian crisis, we pledge to:

• Unite a diverse community of scholars, jurists, and practitioners, both within Venezuela and across the diaspora, to sustain and enrich academic and practical discourse.
• Foster an inclusive environment that transcends disciplinary boundaries, integrating constitutional, administrative, international, migration, criminal, and human rights law to address Venezuela’s multifaceted legal landscape.
• Uphold the fundamental constitutional values of democracy, equality, justice, and human rights as the pillars for societal progress and legal development.
• Engage actively with civil society and legal practitioners to ensure our scholarship remains connected to the realities faced by Venezuelans and contributes to meaningful solutions.
• Promote dialogue, mentorship, and collaboration through conferences, seminars, and publications that support emerging and established voices in Public Law.
• Stand as a beacon for resilience and scholarly excellence, nurturing a community that champions human dignity and the rule of law despite adversity.
