About

The Chilean Chapter of the International Society of Public Law ICON•S is a diverse and interdisciplinary academic forum that seeks to discuss the contemporary challenges of Public Law.

It includes perspectives from administrative law, constitutional law, international law, and related fields such as political science, political theory, jurisprudence, and political history.

It is an intergenerational workspace that promotes regional and political diversity, with gender balance and academic excellence. It also aspires to be a link between the Chilean academy and the international forum offered by ICON•S.

2021 CHAPTER ACTIVITY REPORT

First Annual Conference

The Chilean chapter of the International Society of Public Law (ICON•S) announces its First Annual Conference to be held on August 4 and 5 in the cities of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso. The Conference will be an interdisciplinary academic event, with various plenary sessions, panels and presentations that will bring together academics from public law to discuss the constitutional change in Chile.

The Conference will be held in a spirit of collaboration and will be sponsored by the Adolfo Ibáñez, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and Valparaíso universities.

The theme of the conference is Challenges of constitutional change for public law.
