PUBLIC LAW TEACHING

ABOUT

Much of the impact of public law scholars is felt in their classrooms.

The Public Law Teaching Interest Group brings together, under the umbrella of ICON•S, colleagues who are interested in discussing and collaborating on questions of public law teaching. The group provides a space for sharing teaching experience and resources, and for fostering a connected global community of public law teachers.

ACTIVITIES

Over the next few years, the group plans to organize panels at ICON•S and other conferences to showcase innovations in public law teaching and promote global engagement; provide a network that supports comparative public law teaching, such as facilitating guest-lecturer call-outs and creating a teaching-exchange register; organize a blog forum (for example, on I•CONnect) for group members on topics at the intersection of pedagogy and public law; and host webinars on aspects of public law teaching.
