SOUTH KOREA

The South Korea Chapter of the International Society of Public Law (ICON•S) is a forum for academic discussion and cooperation among public law scholars in South Korea, East Asia, and the international community.

ABOUT

The Chapter has three goals. First, it promotes intellectual exchange and cooperation among public law scholars and legal professionals in South Korea, contributing to domestic and global legal scholarship and fully respecting the diversity of gender, age, and discipline pursued by ICON•S. Second, as the first national chapter of ICON•S in the Northeast Asian region, it promotes academic collaboration within the region and connects Korean scholars with the international academic community. Third, it fosters the values of constitutionalism, democracy, human rights, and the rule of law, nationally and globally, in these troubled times.
