Dear ICON·S Members,
I am thrilled to be nominated for the ICON·S Council elections and honored to be included among a fantastic list of candidates. I would like to briefly introduce myself. I am a Senior Lecturer at IDC Herzliya, Israel. Here is a link to my profile.
In the last several years I have been highly involved with ICON·S. I have published in the International Journal of Constitutional Law (ICON), written posts for the ICONnect Blog, and served as a peer-reviewer for ICON. I have been an active participant and panels-organizer in the ICON·S Annual conferences (in HK, Copenhagen, Berlin and Florence). I have also participated in other academic ICON·S events. I have co-initiated a special ICON Symposium on Israeli Constitutional Law; I am a regular contributor and editor at the ICON·S Israel Blog; and I served on the organizing committee of the 2018 ICON·S·IL Annual Conference. Finally, I am devoted to the society that recently awarded me (jointly with N. Sultay) the inaugural ICON·S Book Prize. This has been a tremendous honor and I want to give back and use my skills to promote the society.
Having served as the Secretary General of the Israeli Association of Public Law for three years, and as the Co-Founder-Chair of the Israeli Association of Legislation, I am experienced in advancing learned soceities. I believe in the importance of the ICON Society and eager to devote time and energy for its future development and success. As a scholar whose research expands globally, I aim to create further opportunities for a truly worldwide comparative dialogue.
It would be my privilege to serve on the Council of a society that created and nurtures such a global (yet close) and diverse community, that does grand things, and to which I feel so attached.
